Coming into this trip, we weren't expecting to get very far with our bouldering. We heard that Yosemite grades hard, and boy is that true! We struggled on almost every rock, and the ones we did manage to summit were graded as low as V0s and V1s (for reference we climb 4x that level indoors at Movement gyms). The pure rush of pride and accomplishment when summitting one of these faces is unmatched, and looking down on far you've climbed feels great. We were both able to climb some routes and would definitely recommend Yosemite to anyone interested in rock climbing, but if you really want to make the most of your trip, maybe hold on making the trek until you're more advanced!
